China joined the Open Knowledge network in February 2013, and is currently represented by three Ambassadors; Feng Gao, based in Shanghai; Biao Xie, based in Guangzhou, and Cui Anyong, based in Beijing, all working across lots of different areas of ‘open’.
Feng is one of the OKF’s ambassador in China and currently based in Shanghai. He is particularly interested in open government data, open sustainability and school of data. With the background in both software engineering and interaction design, he believes that open data will help us make great products to improve quality of life.
